...for the record, this title is a lie, because before this I actually had no idea how many days there were until Otakon XD (apparently, about 18...)

Anyway, I officially registered for Otakon yesterday That's done, my Beat cosplay has most of its necessary components (everything but a little white fabric for the skull on the hat), and what isn't officially in my house is on its way via mail (hat, pins, bracelet, etc)...lemme tell you, I've racked up a ~$170 debt from my mommy...problem is that I don't know if I'll have enough money to have everything covered (i.e. spending money + paying back)

I had hoped for a possible rave outfit, but all together the thing I want costs about $140-170 (I could throw something together borrowing people's clothes, but I'm really...there's a word...fussy? Maybe? 'Vain' also applies here, lol...) I'm hoping to sell some stuff on eBay...if I can't, obviously no rave outfit. If I can, POSSIBLE rave outfit, but time is running out...less than three weeks!!! @__@

Anyway, back to the topic of Otakon ITSELF...on Friday, I will be cosplaying Haruhi Suzumiya, so if you'd like to Hare Hare Yukai with me, I'd be happy (be warned, I may do it backwards, I don't even know which side is correct...) We're not gonna be in Baltimore until around noon-2:00, because we're leaving around 9:00 in the morning, it's about a three hour drive, and we have to get checked in, set up the cosplay, etc...(i have a huge bag to carry all my stuff YAY!!!) ...please find me ;___;

Saturday I will be Daisukenojo "Beat" Biito, from The World Ends With You. Even though the cosplay isn't extravagant, I'm...really looking forward to being him. My buddy Caitlin (my con-buddy for the weekend) and I have been practicing being in-character (she's going as my little sis, Rhyme). Of course, she just has to act like she's a caring, smart little girl. I have to act like a jigger XD I must reduce my IQ to fit the part...I believe I can do it!!! (I must also bring something for rave clothing...hmmm...)

Sunday, I will be...drum roll please... SAI!!!. That's right, your friendly neighborhood Sai will return for the Sunday of Otakon. However, I can only stay until around 3:00 at the latest that day, because my dog is having surgery...no, seriously. Legit excuse. My buddy Caitlin will be accompanying me as Haruhi Suzumiya (using my cosplay XD), and together...well, we've decided to act out as a crack pairing XD I'm not sure WHAT brought about SaixHaruhi/HaruhixSai (Saruhi?) but we decided to do so...I'm not really sure how that's going to play out...what ev's. There's your update XD

Considering, you know, YURI-FRICKEN-LOWENTHAL isn't there this year, I'm not too excited about the guests, although I'll try my best to see Kanon Wakeshima in concert, say hi to Yamila Abraham, and get Crispin Freeman's autograph (I am a fan of his, I'll be honest...) Last Otakon, I remember, i was extremely lucky, i.e. winning cosplay bingo by having the pics in my camera before I got the paper, a random guy giving me a ticket to get Yuri Lowenthal's autograph, me magically getting my signed poster back after I lost it...*was so FUCKING relieved...* I hope this year will be magical...well, I can hope XD OH, is sharing a table with some friends at the Artist's Alley!!! congrats to her!!! *throws confetti*

Please try to find me, you guys!!! ;___; And remind me who you were at Setsucon, because I'll recognize you after that (probably, LLOL, I'm sorry, my memory is really bad I hope I can see you guys though!!!)

Also, if you guys find me...can you please make sure I eat? ;__; I have a habit, during conventions I'm so stressed that I don't eat...I'm not sure why I get so stressed in the first place. I'm usually fine if I don't eat, I went all three days of Tekkoshocon 2008 without eating, like, anything...but I'd rather not keep the habit Besides, last year got me to eat dinner and I felt AWESOME afterwards...so, uh, yeah. Drag me to get Chinese or something if I haven't eaten (I might lie, but Caitlin will be blatantly truthful (i love you ) and say otherwise)

...I really wanna give a hug if he's there XD dude, if we can get the whole Setsucon crew together, it can be, like, a party OwO
